In the Sounds and Multimedia control panel the sound recording volume button does not work. I won't be seeing my rig sund two weeks. If you use a separate AGP card then this is no problem though. Sound weird and I haven't tried it since I use headphones, but perhaps you do have that setting enabled, making the mic plug not working as a mic plug?
